About our old stamps
Old stamps are tiny windows onto design, printing and history, and they're easy to frame or keep in an album. Each stamp or set here is listed with its country, issue and year where we know them, and whether it's mint (unused) or used, with any hinge marks, creases or thin spots described. Colour and perforations matter to collectors, so we photograph the front and, where it helps, the back. If you collect a particular country or theme, tell us and we'll look out for it.
