How we describe curiosities
Coins list their year, denomination, silver content and grade. Stamps list their issue, condition and whether they’re used or mint. We photograph both sides of every coin.
About our curiosities
Curiosities is the small drawer of things that turn up alongside the silver: old coins, stamps and the odd find that's too good to leave behind. Each piece is described with its country, year, issue and condition, and its silver content where it has any, and photographed front and back where that matters. Silver curiosities are tested like everything else in the shop. The drawer is never large and it changes with every drop, so each piece here is one of one too. Tell us if you're hunting for a particular year or country.
