About our vintage silver chains
A good chain is the piece you'll wear every day, so it pays to look closely. Our vintage sterling silver chains are tested before they're listed, and we photograph the marks, often a small "925" or "ITALY" tag near the clasp or on the end caps. Look at the links for wear and kinks, and at the clasp: lobster and box clasps are the most secure, and a worn bolt ring is an easy fix for any jeweller. Heavier chains feel more substantial and drape well, so we list the weight in grams and the length in centimetres wherever we've measured them.
